Japan and Indonesia 『Rootedness and Beyond』in INDONESIA
日本とインドネシアをオンラインでつなぎ、約１年の歳月をかけて制作された『Rootedness and Beyond』プロジェクト。
この度、その集大成となる待望のインドネシア公演が実現！！GaDo-GaDoがいよいよインドネシアに初上陸します。
"Rootedness" という土地、祖先、文化の中にある自分の「根っこ」との密接なつながりの探究からスタートした本プロジェクトは、
日本とインドネシア両国で民俗芸能をバックグラウンドに持つ若手アーティストが集結しました。
インドネシアのユニークな伝統⾳楽と現代の⾳楽をミックスさせた楽曲を奏でる Ki Ageng Qithmir（キ・アグン・キスミール）と、宮崎県の椎葉神楽をルーツにもち様々な⾝体表現を得意とする黒⽊裕太による鮮やかに融合されたコラボレーション。
『Rootedness and Beyond』が満を持して、インドネシアにて初披露されます。
The "Rootedness and Beyond" project was created over a period of about a year, connecting Japan and Indonesia online.
Now, the culmination of the project, the long-awaited performance in Indonesia, has come to fruition! GaDo-GaDo is finally coming to Indonesia for the first time.
This project began as an exploration of "Rootedness," a close connection to one's "roots" in the land, ancestors, and culture.
This is a vivid collaboration between Ki Ageng Qithmir, who plays a unique mixture of traditional and contemporary Indonesian music, and Yuta Kuroki, whose roots are in the Shiiba Kagura and who specializes in various forms of physical expression.
"Rootedness and Beyond" will be premiered in Indonesia in full force.

Ki Ageng Qithmirとは
「Ki Ageng Qithmir」はインドネシアの音楽チーム。音楽を通じて祖先や自然、その他の存在を大切に守り先祖に届ける。
マカパット（ジャワの伝統的な詩と歌のスタイル）の歌のように、「Ki Ageng Qithmir」は、人生の初期段階にある人間の生命のサイクルを提示している。これは「terkambang（浮遊）」と「terkembang（成長）」から派生した「maskumambang（男性が成長していく時期の象徴）」である。手に入れるのを待っている宝物のようであり、成長を待っている生まれたての赤ちゃんのようでもある。
そして、生き生きとした生命体をつなぐ生涯のアートワークとして、単に美学的な作品だけでは不十分である。「Ki Ageng Qithmir」は、むしろ「jimat（お守り）」のようなものであり、秩序ある宇宙の中で自然を縦横無尽に動かし、人間の無常な世界に天上の顕現をもたらすポータルとして存在している。
